Aidex Humanitarian & Development

AidEx, Europe’s only international humanitarian and development aid event, returns to Brussels for its third year. Not just another ‘trade-show’ or ‘talking-shop’ but an event that works hard to help improve the situation on the ground.
With an exhibition that covers all relevant cluster groups in the sector, a conference programme that encourages open debate and collaboration, and a variety of key opportunities to engage, interact and network, AidEx is a must-attend event for every organisation in the sector.
This year’s conference theme is sustainability and resilience, and will attract a cross-section of aid professionals to the heart of Europe. All conference sessions and practical workshops held throughout the two days are free to attend.
The exhibition presents 200 exhibitors under one roof, which are zoned into four main areas – Medicine, Shelter, Food & Water and Logistics & Communications. All the latest equipment will be on display, with cutting-edge new technologies to impact the delivery of aid.
In addition, the Developing World Supplier Zone is a unique area for suppliers from developing regions, where visitors can meet local suppliers without needing to travel far and wide, that can provide products at the point where they are needed the most.
Other unique show features include the Struggle for Survival Simulation, Aid Donor and International Co-Operation Pavilion, Aid Innovation Challenge, Humanitarian Hero of the Year Award and the AidEx – Fleet Forum Fleet Excellence Training Programme.
And if you’re looking for a career in the aid sector, head to the Careers Pavilion, which is dedicated to helping aspiring or existing professionals find a suitable appointment. This motivational area with allow you to meet a selection of carefully-chosen international agencies who offer aspiring job opportunities and university courses within the aid sector at all levels.
Our aim is simple – to bring the international aid community from each corner of the world to Brussels, to collectively achieve a common objective – improving aid delivery. From major NGOs and global policy makers through to small but specialist suppliers in the most remote areas, AidEx facilitates relationships that would be otherwise unachievable.
