Expression of Interest - Mechanical Fitter - QCLNG Upstream Project

QGC has engaged Thiess Industrial Projects and Thiess Queensland to construct a number of Field Compressor Stations and Central Processing Plants in and around Dalby, Chinchilla and Roma. These projects form part of QGC's integrated liquefied natural gas project and their sites are spread over an extensive area within the region.  This exciting project has ongoing works through to 2014.
We are currently asking for Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced and qualified Mechancial Fitter for the QCLNG Upstream Project to commence over the coming months. Travel to and from site/camp is Bus-In-Bus-Out and complying with this arrangement is a requirement of your employment. The roster is 21/7 and full camp motelling accommodation is provided.
Only applicants who can provide examples of relevant industry experience will be considered for this role. Oil and gas experience is highly regarded. Applicants must hold appropriate industry qualifications and be able to provide examples of relevant competencies and experience.  The preferred candidate must demonstrate a high standard of personal safety including acknowledging the importance of being fit for duty, identifying and managing hazards and commitment to the safety of fellow workmates. An online safety assessment and health assessment (including physical assessment and drug and alcohol screening) will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
