Summer / Fall 2013 Program Management Internship

Duration:
1. Summer 2013 with potential extension through Fall semester 2013 OR
2. Fall 2013 with potential extension through Spring 2014.

Great opportunity to get broad exposure to international development consulting and to deepen your international development management skills!
Social Impact (SI) is an international development management consulting firm working to enhance the effectiveness of international development organizations and the programs they support. SI works in the sectors of democracy and governance, health, education, economic growth and environment. SI is calling for intern candidates for the summer and/or fall 2013 to support a variety of upcoming projects.

Requirements:
  • Highly motivated, dynamic, detail-oriented, people-person
  • Must be strong at multi-tasking and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel a must
  • Working knowledge of other programs a plus
Location:   Social Impact HQ offices in Arlington, VA (Courthouse Metro stop); occasional travel to and from Washington, DC
Compensation:   Monthly stipend of $500 provided with a minimum 20-hour work week schedule during the school year; $1000 provided with a minimum 40 hour work week schedule.
