Modifications in Stjørdal is a business unit of Operations Mid in the Development and Production Norway (DPN) business area. The unit is responsible for implementing modification projects at Heidrun, Åsgard, Kristin and Njord. Technical support is a sector in the Modification unit. The sector delivers multidisciplinary technical engineering support to projects in the modification portfolio. The portfolio will include a wide range of offshore modification projects that will be followed from the study phase to completion.

Job description

  • Key tasks for the positions will include:
  • Verify scope of work and ensure technical quality during the initiation phase of the project
  • Monitor technical quality in studies and design activities performed by contractor
  • Manage technical clarifications and variation orders from contractor
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, technical reviews and verifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree / master's degree, certificate of apprenticeship in mechanical or similar. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
  • Min. 5 years of experience from offshore projects/engineering
  • Good knowledge of regulations and standards in the professional area
  • Good knowledge of Norwegian, both written and oral
