Your role will be to ensure we gain the maximum value from our supporters, engage with new ones and raise awareness of our work and brand by assisting in the development and implementation of innovative active fundraising events in the UK and overseas. This will involve working with the management team and colleagues across the organisation from PR and media to marketing.
Your work will include attending events and providing logistical help, supporting event marketing and developing communications plans as well as preparing forecasts and monitoring income. You will also develop donor support processes, maintain records and help build capacity.
Critically you will provide support and encouragement to event fundraisers, ensuring they are motivated, have the tools and advice they need, are thanked for their efforts.
Experience of planning and project managing fundraising events is essential as is the ability to manage multiple stakeholders communications, control budgets and deliver activities on time and at agreed costs.
You must also have used fundraising databases as well as developed marketing and communication plans. You will be good at building relationships, detail orientated and skilled at prioritising multiple projects.
