Keen to make your mark in a major international NGO and in an ambitious growing team, you’ve got the passion and energy to secure significant financial support from trusts and foundations. You will be responsible for leading on a strategy to grow income from trusts and foundations giving grants of up to £50,000 per year.
Day-to-day, you will identify, approach and build relationships with a portfolio of grant-making trusts, as well as write compelling appeals and proposals to attract funding.
We’ll also rely on you to keep abreast of funding trends and best practice, and maintain up-to-date records.
With an impressive record of successfully soliciting gifts and grants, you know how to find and evaluate the right trusts for us, and how to establish and maintain superb relationships with donors. Most of your communication will be in writing, so you will be able to express yourself articulately in this way, and put forward complex arguments simply and persuasively.
With outstanding organisational skills, you will ensure that you schedule and manage your wide range of projects and tasks so no detail is overlooked and every deadline is met.
