This job exists to:

• Maximise Pacific Island Country access to funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), and other bi-lateral and multi-lateral financing mechanisms and agencies. The EMPA is responsible to the Director, Environmental Monitoring & Governance (DEMG) for the performance of the following key result areas:

1. Technical advice and guidance
2. Networking and capacity building
3. Workplan development and implementation
4. Management and leadership
