DFID is recruiting a speechwriter to the Secretary of State for International Development. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the communications priorities for the Secretary of State and his Ministerial team. Against the backdrop of intense scrutiny of British aid and with the 2015 deadline for the Millennium Development Goals approaching, the post-holder will craft key messages to the UK public and wider world on ending extreme poverty.
