SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER: PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

Creating designs and arranging drawings for execution will be key focuses in this role, together with the application and management of new technology while providing solutions to problems and developing, improving and applying standards. Drawing on your interpersonal and analytical skills, you will be expected to manage technicians as well as engineering governance on projects (all to Kumba’s capital and project management principles), and close gaps where required.

In order to be considered, you will need a BEng Civil degree, some 5-10 years’ relevant experience as well as experience in project management. Experience in the design of infrastructure and structures is imperative, while SAP experience would be recommended. It is important that you have some exposure to plant and infrastructure maintenance.
