Public relations and Communication Officer
NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL EXPORT DEVELOPMENT BOARD (NAEB) is looking for highly competent and motivated candidates to fill the following posts in the organization:
Public relations and Communication Officer (1)
Main job Tasks and Responsibilities
•Planning, developing and implementing NAEB Communication strategies;
•Preparing and distributing communication packages on NAEB’s activities, implementation progress and awareness campaigns;
•Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople on matters relating to NAEB’s cooperate image
•Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations;
•Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
•Writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports;
•Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes;
•Devising and coordinating photo opportunities;
•Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours;
•Managing the Public Relations and Communication aspects of NAEB.
•Liasing with the ICT department updadate the website regularly .
Education and Experiences
•Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communication, Public Administration, Journalism and Media Studies;
•At least 3 years of work experience in Public Relation, Communications, and Marketing and media industries is highly desirable.
Interested candidates for the above positions should submit the following to the Central secretariat of NAEB, not later than 14th September 2012 at 5:00 pm. NAEB office are situated at Gikondo, Magerwa road.

4.Copies of academic Certificates
5.Copy of the national identity card.
