Thiess Industrial Projects are currently seeking a Quality Superintendent to work on the QCLNG Upstream Works Project. This role will be bus in bus out from Brisbane, working a 14/7 Roster with camp style accommodation and meals provided whilst working on site. You will be hired as staff for the life of the Project. The role will include but not limited to:
- Actively manage Quality Supervisors and work team, ensuring issues are addressed in accordance with Thiess Management System
- Operate and liaise within Project site operations including internal and external construction meetings
- Functional representation at external testing / inspection facilities
- Establish inspection schedules to ensure project requirement are met
- Ensure personnel within the work team are suitably certified to complete require tasks
- Directly influence the safety culture of "Beyond Zero Harm" through the promotion of safe work practices to all project personnel
- Assist to ensure all activities are compliant with standards set by the client, the community and the regulatory framework.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Trade Qualifications in an industry related field
- 5 years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Internal Auditing experience will be highly regarded
- 10-15 years Quality experience preferably with minimum of 5 years industry experience as a Construction Supervisor
- The ability to manage all reporting personnel with both the best interests of the individual and positive project outcomes in mind
- Ability to interpret and understand documented Standards, Specifications and inspection and test requirements
- Excellent communciation skills both written and verbal
- A high level of attention to detail
