Research Associate: Structural Biology

Full Time: The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £32,375 - £39,132 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
We are seeking to appoint a postdoctoral Research Associate to study the structural aspect of regulation of fibroblast growth factor receptor signalling and deregulation in cancer.
The work will be undertaken at the Research Department of Structural and Molecular Biology at UCL, which together with Birkbeck College, forms part of the Institute of Structural and Molecular Biology.
This post is funded by a CR UK Programme Grant for three years in the first instance, starting in October 2013.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who can work both independently as well as harmoniously within a small group of investigators.
Applicants must have a relevant PhD (or about to submit) in structural biology along with experience in protein purification and analysis.
