Technical Instructor - Brazil

Summary of the Position
We now have a great Technical Instructor position!
Genesys University Technical Instructors provide technical training to all levels of customers and partners. The courses will be delivered in Portuguese and Spanish (or English) at our training centres or on-site at our client premises. International travel is often required.
Responsibilities
• Acquire expertise in contact center interactions, including inbound voice, interaction routing, voice self-service, activity reporting, multi-channel communications, etc.
• Conduct a combination of many of our nearly 50 technical courses for internal, partner, and customer audiences at both Genesys and customer locations.
• Prepare and deliver customer-specific onsite courses
• Deliver Virtual training / remote e-learning
• Work with Virtual Machines in VMware and occasionally assist with student lab setup.
• Keep abreast of product development to maintain subject matter expertise for our rapidly-evolving product line.
• Provide superior customer service both in class and following up to get customers and partners the information they need.
• Work well with other members of the training and account management teams.
• Occasionally contribute to curriculum development and/or certification programs through providing subject matter expertise, reviewing materials, or authoring content for courses and certification exams.
• As assigned, manage small training projects (training design, course development and delivery).
• Be able to travel around 40%, primarily in Latin America but occasionally out of the region.
Qualifications/Skills Required and Preferred
• Educated to Engineer level standard OR other 4-year degree combined with significant technical work experience.
• Must be highly technical and capable of RAPIDLY absorbing multiple weeks of courseware on sophisticated technologies.
• Experience with contact centers or telephony software and/or hardware desirable but not required.
• Experience with one or more of areas of highly technical computer and IT skills required. Examples may include: networking, relational databases, OS administration, phone systems, software development, etc.
• Good knowledge of Windows and common office applications.
• Must be able to understand and communicate complex technical subject matter. Prior technical teaching experience preferred. Good presentation skills a must.
• Portuguese fluently spoken/read/written.
• Spanish fluently spoken
• English skills desirable
• Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
• Flexible and able to work under pressure.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
