We seek qualified candidates for the position of Health Care Collaboration Performance Measurement Development Intern in Washington, DC.

Position Description:

The overall goal of this project is to provide an opportunity for a graduate student to participate in health systems and health communication research, specifically using environmental scan and interview data analysis techniques in support of the development of a report and beta version of a collaboration performance measurement tool for a project funded by the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Public Health. The intern will have to:

· Draft data collection and analysis plan including any necessary instrumentation

· Contribute to the conduct of an environmental scan

· Take and produce interview notes that constitute the “raw” data for this project

· Read and code interview data as part of a team of research staff

· Participate in data analysis efforts

· Contribute to report writing summarizing background, methodology, and findings

· Participate in Advisory Group meetings to finalize list of metrics to be tested in a prototype tool

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors required, Masters preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some experience and facility with web-based databases. Excellent written communication skills is required. Ability to work independently.
