LECTURER English (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)

Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to (i) teach Oral Literature at both Undergraduate and Graduate levels; (ii) ability to teach the following would be an added advantage: Modern African Poetry, Critical Issues in Modern African Literature and Botswana Literature. (iii) In addition, the appointee will perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) at least a Masters’ Degree in Literature in English or related fields; (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in which English was studied as a major, with at least a 2(i) pass and an overall aggregate not less than 65%; (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) a relevant PhD, teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages.
