Senior Analyst/Analyst - Valuations
The Portfolio and Benchmark Data group is looking to hire a dedicated professional within the area of fixed income and equity valuations. The group is responsible for daily valuations of the fund across fixed income and equities, as well as maintenance and quality assurance of NBIM’s benchmarks. The group is in frequent interaction with international market data vendors and investment banks as well as internal and external fund managers.
The position is located in Oslo, some travel will be required.
Main Responsibilities:
• Analyse and implement daily valuations for fixed income and equity assets
• Monthly valuations and reporting
• Provide valuation analysis to NBIM’s valuation committee
• Drive deliveries from vendors and global outsourcing provider
• Projects and initiatives to introduce new instruments and markets
• Support and interact with internal stakeholders, including portfolio management, trading, risk management and accounting
Main Qualifications:
• Master’s degree with strong academic records, preferably in finance or economics
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience within valuation of financial instruments or similar functions
• In-depth understanding of financial markets and instruments
• Structured and accurate with a high degree of professionalism
• Working experience with Excel/SQL and market platforms
• Strong communication skills and working proficiency in written and spoken English
