Salary Scale: up to £ 75K (negotiable depending on experience)

We invite you to join us as Dean of Education at an exciting time. We have invested £20m in the transformation of our campus and are looking to enhance leadership in the institution.

You will be of professorial standing and have the credibility and experience to lead and further develop our well respected School of Education, which goes back to the foundation of the institution. Building on our established partnerships with the primary and secondary sector, you will drive forward the innovative work within the School which is graded good and outstanding by Ofsted. The School is strengthening its position by developing into a research-informed centre for workforce development in a multi-professional context.

According to our principle of subsidiarity you will have executive power within the School and become a member of the Newman Management Group; and you will report to one of the new Pro-Vice Chancellors.
