Job Description As VIP Lounge Hostess, you will greet and welcome guests at the cigar lounge and offer and serve guests cigars and drinks. Function as lounge guest service agent during light periods at the cigar lounge. Responsibilities Your responsibilities shall include but not limited to: Maintain and update record for the cigar stock. Follow up on requisitions with SLDO to maintain appropriate stock levels at all times. Offer and serve cigars professionally. Offer the cigar menu to guests and answer guest queries. Serve cigars and drinks and continue to anticipate guest needs Provide expert advice on cigar and cigar types by developing and maintaining strong product knowledge. Keep cigars in good conditions and ensure serving accessories (e.g. cutters, lighters, matches, gas for lighters, etc.) are readily available. Monitor humidor temperature and relative humidity and ensure they are maintained at ideal levels. Ensure that the cigar bar is kept neat and tidy at all times. Empty and clean ashtrays regularly. Provide a record of cigars used per shift using the h/o sheet. Perform duties of lounge GSA’s during light periods at the cigar lounge. To problem solve and liaise with supervisors to handle guest complaints. Ensure that service delivery measures are delivered with dissatisfied guests Provide highest level of hospitality through the delivery of highest level of service performance, and therefore contributing to a world class travel experience for guests, supporting and contributing to EY’s vision of guest service delivery Support the department in other tasks, activities and ad hoc projects as required. Requirements High school or secondary level education is required, preferably with certifications in hospitality management, guest handling, or related courses. Post holder must have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a luxury retail, hospitality or airline industry with minimum 1 year experience in a cigar bar is preferred. A Female candidate with customer service and complaints handling trainings F&B skills Knowledge of cigars and serving cigars is an advantage Good command of English language; Arabic and other additional languages is an advantage. Computer literate The Individual OPERATING ENVIRONMENT: You have to: Operates within a cigar bar environment and work hours are on a shifting pattern.
