STAFF DEVELOPMENT FELLOW IN PHILOSOPHY Theology & Religious Studies

Duties: The successful candidates will be expected to (i) spend time in the Department prior to their training in order to observe and learn Departmental functions; (ii) conduct tutorials and teach Undergraduate Courses; (iii) assist in all academic activities of the Department including research; (iv) work closely with staff members (in teaching and other administrative duties) and prepare for future training areas of professionalisation; (v) perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: The candidate must possess (i) a Bachelors’ Degree in Philosophy with at least a 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent from a recognised institution; (ii) preference will be given to candidates who have done Logic for at least 1 year; (iii) candidates must have passed Logic and Epistemology courses with 70%+; (iv) having passed more Logic, Epistemology and Critical Thinking courses will be an added advantage; (v) the successful candidate will be expected to proceed for further Studies majoring in Epistemology and Metaphysics.
