Our work covers most building types, including office, retail, industrial, hotel/hospitality, and multi-family.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is necessary.  Proficiency with AutoCAD will be beneficial to the position.

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The ability to travel out of town, for approximately 35 percent of the time, is a requirement for the position.

Desired Skills & Experience

Candidates will be expected to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimum oversight, possess excellent technical writing skills, and have experience and success in personnel management.  The ideal candidate will possess a BSME, BSEE, or BSAE with mechanical or electrical specialty, P.E., and at least 10 years experience in the engineering design and evaluation of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems for institutional, residential, municipal, and commercial facilities. Demonstrated leadership and project management successes are expected.  Expertise in the HVAC field is required, and solid fundamentals in parallel disciplines are necessary.  Candidates with experience in energy audits, commissioning, or LEED consulting will be given preference.

• Property condition assessments (PCAs)

• Pre-construction plan reviews

• Energy audits

• System commissioning

• Forensic evaluations

• Construction management and design

• Evaluations of HVAC,electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems

• Cost evaluations of new and existing construction projects
