Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

• Act independently to assess analyses and provide a clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention within specialist area.
• Act independently to plan, implement, evaluate, treat and progress patient care to maximize rehabilitation potential within specialist area.
• Manage caseload of patients effectively and efficiently, personally undertaking the more complex cases. 
• Work as part of a team to ensure effective communication and delivery of care.
Maintain patient documentation, records and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and meet professional standards.
• Communicate and make recommendations to all relevant disciplines of staff to maximize patient care and promote multidisciplinary working. 
• Develop, implement and maintain appropriate clinical guidelines ensuring clinical effectiveness to optimize patient care.
• Manage other physiotherapists to maximize efficiency and achieve desired quality of care.
• Participate in and undertake the departmental Personal Development and Performance
Review system to promote personal and service developments.
• Develop a physiotherapy service to maximize patient care and use of resources.
Monitor activity and staffing levels and liaise with the Clinical Support Services.
• Manager to priorities resources to meet service demands. 
Develop and implement managerial policies to promote a fair, consistent and safe working environment.
• Liaise with a range of individuals, internal and external to the organization, to ensure effective service delivery

Qualification

• Diploma / degree in Physiotherapy Registration with MOPH
• 5 years clinical experience (wide range) 
• At least 3 years Supervisory experience 
• Good communication
• Team worker
• Ability to work independently
• Fluent in Dari, Pashto and English
• Honesty and integrity, adherence to International medical corps(IMC)
• Able to travel to other sites 
• Self motivated
• Good team work spirit
