About the role:
You will serve as a key advisor to the Business Analysis Department within the Corporate Planning organization. The core function of the Corporate Planning organization is to advise the company’s management and guide other departments within the company on energy markets and outlooks, economic evaluations, oil pricing, macroeconomic outlook, and international energy policies and regulations, besides assisting in business planning and strategy formulation. As a Global Economy Specialist, competent in analyzing the macroeconomic environment of global markets and understanding the implications of macroeconomic developments on the company’s main operations, you will assist the Corporate Planning staff in communicating to Corporate Management as well as other organizations within the company regarding the company’s growing portfolio of international projects and business ventures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
You will help produce written output, including a regular economic outlook, and reports and case studies to support management decisions that are impacted by assessments of global economy. These reports should study and establish the impact of global economy on world energy demand in general and oil in particular. You will help develop a global economic outlook, along with other outlooks related to energy, oil, refining, chemicals and domestic energy and the economy, which will provide the background for the preparation of the company’s business plan.

Minimum Requirements: 
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Financial Management or closely related specialty. A MBA or Master’s degree in Economics is desirable. 10+ years' experience in assessing world economies and developing short- and long-term forecasts of world economic growth, especially in regional and global settings. Experience with the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, a major financial institution or a relevant consulting house would be highly desirable.
