RODDING AND ROPING - SYDNEY

Silcar Communications is acknowledged as a leading provider of infrastructure design, construction, and maintenance to the Telecommunications industry. Silcar Communications has recently been announced as the key participant for the design and construction of the broadband network (NBN) in the ACT, NSW and Queensland.

We are now seeking applications from experienced individuals who have solid experience in Telco external plant. There are several opportunities available for appropriately qualified and capable people to join us Rodding and Roping as we deliver this iconic project.

We are looking for fit individuals with solid pit and pipe experience. Your knowledge of external Telco plant and your practical construction experience will be just the background we need. The ability to read plans is essential.

In particular, we are looking for qualifications, tickets or accreditations in:

• Pit and Pipe courses
• Confined Space Entry
• First Aid Level 1 - including CPR
• Road Traffic Management
• Telstra Accreditation
• Current valid driver's licence
• Construction White Card.

On the job training will be provided as required. Applicants must show a stable work history, enjoy working outdoors and be able to provide two recent referees.
