SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

The Department of Mineral and Energy Economics (DMEE) at Curtin University has an international reputation for excellence in mineral and energy economics education and research. A member of Curtin Graduate School of Business, DMEE is looking to expand its research and teaching strength in the mineral finance area.
As a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor your role will be to deliver graduate-level units in areas of mineral finance, project evaluation and risk analysis, as well as conducting specialist research at an international level in mineral and/or energy economics.
Responsible for research and post-graduate teaching your duties will also include administrative and other activities to assist in developing and enhancing the department’s reputation, both nationally and internationally.
A  relevant PhD with equivalent experience in mineral finance, project evaluation and risk analysis combined with a demonstrated capacity for research is essential. As is a well-established record of highly regarded peer-reviewed publications, demonstrated ability to attract grants and external funding and excellence in teaching at graduate level.
