Afghan Wireless MW Engineer

Job Description:

A. The candidates will be responsible for the following:

1. Handle the Preventive and Corrective maintenance of different MW equipment's, ancillary equipment and Multiplexers in the AWCC MW network.
2. Must know the system configuration, integration, Fault analyses, simulation and isolation.
3. Must know the Installation and Commissioning of different type MW radio's (Siemens SRA 3 & SRAL, SIAE ALS Series,US7, ALC PLUS 2E IP BASE, Nera IP+, Nera Evolution XPAND, Nera evolution EDGE, Harris Stratex radio Eclipse) both PDH and SDH.
4. Knows the MW equipment system lined-up and system synchronization.
5. Capable to Handle different MW NMS monitoring system (HUAWEI U2000, SIAE NMS 5UX and Nera NETMASTER).
6. Inventory and mobility of equipment, spares, tools and test equipment.
7. Can handle training of Local Engineers.
8. Must know the installation and commissioning including operation and maintenance of different Multiplexers (SIAE ADM 1 & 4, Spectrum Mux, RAD MODEM, RAD SMT-1 Mux �OP155, OSN 3500 & OSN 1500, LOOP MUX, Nera DXC Mux and NSN HIT706x) and also, different PDH multiplexer capacity and other ancillary equipment.
9. Capable to gathered data's for site and network capacity and loading documentation.
10. Can generate detailed and accurate reports related to the job.
11. Must know how to operate different type of MW test equipment and tools.
12. Knows how to deal with co-personnel and other department during coordination with the related works.
13. Can supervise riggers for antenna system installation and alignment.
14. Can handle migration, integration and expansion project.
15. Can assist and coordinate the local customers or clients for lease line and international provider for IGF circuits.
16. Assist local MW Engineer during trouble shooting locally and remotely.
    B. Willing to be assigned anywhere in Afghanistan .
    C . Report to MW Assistant Manager and Sr. Manager - for all day-to-day work activity.
    D . Be able to travel on the job site.
    E. Perform other related duties as required.

Skills Description:

A . Computer literate and knows different PC software application.
B . Can communicate using English language.
C . Must have good working attitudes and able to work with other teams and management staff.
D. Can work with less supervision
E. Must have 5 years working experienced in the field of MW equipment Operation and Maintenance and have knowledge with IP.

Education:

• College graduate (BSECE, BS Computer Engineering and BSEE).

Requirements:

• MINIMUM 6 years work experience required. Please do not apply if you have less than that.
• Preferable for Huawei, NSN & GSM mobile operators
