Business Development Manager in Kenya

Our Client in the design and fashion industry is looking to recruit an energetic and focused Business Development Manager to join their team in Nairobi.The Company’s policy has been commitment to provide professional artistic and design service to current and prospective clients. 

Requirements

Ø  Solid business management experience with qualifications in Strategy and business development.

Ø  Experience working in the fashion industry or similar sector with transferable skills.

Ø  Responsible for managing team involving line management of staff members.

Ø  Weekly team target meetings with 1:1 monthly meetings.

Ø  Experience of production schedules from point of orders to delivery

Ø  Solid customer service and a good sales background with online sales experience.

Ø  HR experience/accreditation with experience in recruitment of staff.

Ø  Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ø  Set performance targets to the sales and customer relations team to ensure highest standards are achieved and maintained to exceed client expectation.

Ø  Introduce new products in line with market expectations to maintain a competitive edge.

Ø  Thorough knowledge of the Company’s product range from a sales and technical perspective.

Ø  Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’

Ø  Overhaul of the current administrative systems to ensure efficiency

Ø  Manage and improve online sales strategy

Ø  Facilitate overall and effective management of teams including artisans

Ø  Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks

Ø  Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ø  Ability to work independently

Qualification

Ø  A graduate in Marketing or Sales Management

Ø  3-5 years experience business development preferably in the Design  sector

Ø  Sales or Marketing qualification

Ø  Leadership and Management experience

Ø  Dynamic, focused and honest individual

Ø  A go-getter with good reporting skills
