Indiana University Bloomington invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the Kelley School of Business.

Founded in 1920, the Kelley School of Business is among the world’s most respected business schools. Its undergraduate and graduate programs are consistently ranked in the top 20, nationally, and its faculty members are internationally recognized for their teaching and thought leadership. The Kelley School’s alumni include CEOs, CFOs, and COOs of Fortune 500 companies.  Graduates of its doctoral programs are leaders in industry and academe.  

The Kelley School has campuses in Bloomington and Indianapolis, and has extended its global reach through its innovative online Kelley Direct program, and the Kelley Executive Partners programs. The Kelley School Dean is based in Bloomington, and leads a dynamic team of administrative colleagues who manage the MBA, undergraduate, and executive programs. The Dean also works with an executive associate dean who manages the Indianapolis program on the campus of Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).

The Dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer for the Kelley School, and reports to the Provost and Executive Vice President. Applicants for Dean of the Kelley School must hold a graduate degree in business or a related field, have a record of significant experience in leading a complex organization, a demonstrated record of enhancing the success of women and minorities, and have experience within the academy. Applicants should also possess the strong administrative, managerial, development, and communication skills necessary to lead a business school on the campus of a highly interdisciplinary public research university. A scholarly record appropriate for a tenured professorship at Indiana University is desirable.
