International Crisis Group Bogotá Office Internship

The Colombia/Andes Project of International Crisis Group has an internship available for undergraduate or postgraduate students. Interns can work either full-time or part-time for three to six months. We are currently looking for an intern able to start in February 2013.
Responsibilities:
  • The intern will assist with research and also undertake other tasks related to report production and publication; and
  • Candidates should be flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks, including interviews, online research and administrative work.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate/post-graduate studies in international relations, political science, economics, law or similar subjects;
  • Excellent verbal and written command of English and Spanish;
  • Good knowledge of Colombia and Andean region;
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Internet; and
  • Candidates must be highly motivated and responsible.
Internships at International Crisis Group are unpaid, however, interns will be reimbursed for lunch and transportation costs.
