The Institute of Industrial Research (IIR) at the University of Portsmouth in collaboration with Prosig Limited are seeking an innovative and motivated graduate to develop and program a data acquisition unit to analyse signals.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious computer science / engineering graduate to fast track their career development as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate. The KTP Scheme allows recently qualified graduates to work in companies managing challenging projects central to their strategic needs.http://www.ktponline.org.uk

Prosig, based in Fareham, Hampshire, manufacture data acquisition units and analyse sensor data from industrial machines to identify faults. The company is a small British manufacturer that has a worldwide reputation based on their products and expertise. Prosig wishes to design a low cost data acquisition unit to enter new markets.
The Role:

You are going to research and program a data acquisition unit and work alongside company engineers in developing a prototype that will go into full production.
To do so, you will be required to have qualifications and experiences in the following areas:

- Hold a good Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Ability to work independently
- Self motivation and desire to investigate
