USER NEEDS ASSESSEMENT, DEVELOPMENT OF A WEB PORTAL AND STAFF PROFILE

The ICTO, Addis Ababa University is interested to perform user needs assessment,  develop a web portal and staff profile that is expected to open doors for its internal and external communications. The web portal is expected to have full content management system (CMS) that will drive and manage the front end of the portal. And CMS should be very easy for content administrators to learn and undertake their daily tasks on the web portal.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CONSULTANCY WORK

The aim of this consultancy is to make a detailed user needs assessment for the AAU website and staff profile including photo, design staff profile management system and an interactive web portal integrated with staff profile management system, collect the required content for both the web portal and staff profile management system.

CONSULTANCY PROFILE

Eligible firms or individuals should be qualified enough and have verifiable experience in the field of web portal development and content management. Team members of the consultant are expected to have skills/ competencies, such as content management including (design, data collection and data entry).

DURATION OF THE CONSULTANCY WORK

The development of the web portal, staff profile and data collection and entry is expected to be completed within 60 days of the signing of contract agreement.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Interested consulting firms or individuals may collect the Terms of Reference from ICTO, Addis Ababa University Main Campus , Room number 5 from December 11, 2012. Consultants that submit technical and financial proposal for the consultancy work are advised to:

Hands deliver their technical and financial proposals in a separate envelope   to ICT Office, Ababa University within fifteen days after the date of announcement.

Clearly indicate the consultancy service they are bidding for on the envelop; and
