We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, self-motivated, and service-orientated professional for the position of Air Conditioning Supervisor in the Corporate Services Program.

The position will be based at CIMMYT’s Main Campus (located 45 km northeast of Mexico City, Mexico).
Specific responsibilities of this position will include:
Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to all refrigeration equipment, air conditioning, air- handling units, chilled-water pumps, gearmotors, heat exchangers, air filters, fans, coils, condensers, coolers, package units , dehumidifiers, humidifiers, and all related electromechanical components.
Coordinate all service orders related to refrigeration and air conditioning, ensuring full execution of service orders and completing all monthly reports for maintenance programs and activity logs.
Provide support as required in other areas, including but not limited to: plumbing, painting, masonry, welding, carpentry, aluminum, hardware, trash removal and general repairs in all facilities.
Perform support functions as assigned by your manager.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Have a technical grade in any 2-year course related to engineering, electricity, electro-mechanics, air-conditioning, refrigeration or similar area.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, with demonstrated experience and knowledge of hydraulic networks (chilled-water), single-line diagrams and refrigeration/air-conditioning systems.
Proven experience in supervision, maintenance, monitoring and pressure control, as well as CFM flows.
Having experience in McQuay, Metasys and HVAC systems will be an advantage.
The selected candidate will have a high level of honesty, organization and ability to lead and develop others, along with a good sense of responsibility, dynamism, and confidentiality.
Good IT skills (Microsoft Office). Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD or similar software is also required.
Good working knowledge of English is required.
Strong level of customer orientation and flexibility.
Ability to work with different nationalities, under pressure and as a member of diverse work team.
The post holder will work within the different areas where there are electrical, pressure and temperature-related hazards, so strict compliance with safety standards is required.
Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays and in unsocial hours.
