As Programme Manager (DfID) you will ensure the successful management of our £12million Partnership Programme Arrangement (PPA) with DfID – working strategically and at operational level to generate and ultimately increase income for our work. Day-to-day you will strengthen performance, provide direction and ensure we fulfil programme commitments to DfID. You will ensure compliance, lead the monitoring, evaluation and reporting processes as well as foster cross organisational learning and sharing of best practice. From monitoring budgets and building capacity to developing relationships you will play a key role in the success of the PPA.Importantly, you will help us maximise funding opportunities through high quality proposals, strong partner networks, informed staff and effective intelligence.
This important role demands extensive experience of operations/grant management within the institutional funding arena as well as applied knowledge of project cycle management covering problem analysis through to monitoring and evaluation. Expert at preparing quality narrative and financial reports for institutional donors, you will be skilled at securing significant grant applications from a wide range of institutional funders. Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders you will possess strong communication, influencing and capacity building abilities as well as sound knowledge of financial control.
