LBWS is currently seeking a Pipeline Field Inspector. 
Location:  Washington, DC
Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate will serve as a Pipeline Field Inspector to support an on-going project in the Washington DC area.  Responsibilities may include:
·         Record construction progress through daily reports and other documentation in Primavera Contract Manager
·         Provide coordination with the construction contractor, client, utilities and other agencies
·         Responsible for inspection of contractor’s maintenance of traffic control plans and setup
·         Monitor environmental compliance and check on erosion and sedimentation controls
·         Prepare daily quantity computations for work performed and input into Primavera Contract Manager
·         Observe and visually inspect materials, equipment and supplies delivered to the Project site
·         Monitor, and if necessary, reject work that is unsatisfactory, faulty, defective, damaged, or otherwise non-compliant with the construction contract documents
·         When directed, prepare sketches and revisions to drawings as necessary, to resolve unforeseen, actual, field conditions encountered
·         Prepare intermediate and final deficiency lists (punch-lists)
·         Track as-built conditions and record on Field record drawings
Requirements:
·         10 to 15 years of pipeline/civil inspection experience in Vertical construction in the water / waste water construction field
·         Degree in Engineering or Construction Management  a plus
·         Experienced with pipe liner methodology i.e. HOBAS or Spiral Wound PVC
·         Read / understand / interpret  rebar, concrete, structural and pipe shop drawings
·         Experienced with concrete placement and soil compaction and placement methods
·         Experience with subsurface utilities and coordination
·         Surveying knowledge and experience
·         Experience with maintenance of Traffic
·         OSHA safety training – minimum OSHA 10 Hour
·         Proficiency in document controls software (such as Primavera Contract Manager / Primavera Expedition / E-Builder / SharePoint / Constructware)
·         Proficiency in MS Office productivity  software (i.e. word, excel, power point, etc)   
·         Experience with Primavera P3 or P6 Scheduling software a plus
