NGO Finance Expert

We help NGOs to fill short- and medium financial management capacity gaps through professional interim management. In addition, we help our clients to overcome specific challenges in the area of financial and grant management through consultancy assignments.

The challenges that a NGO Finance Expert has to deal with are substantial, be it on an interim or consulting assignment.   The financial management infrastructure and capacity is seldom optimal and more often than not in need of urgent and significant improvement.

At the same time, specific tasks need to be completed, be it the implementation of a new accounting system, the retrospective clean up of financial records, the writing of overdue donor reports or the complete restructuring of a finance team and financial system.
All this often needs to be done whilst working in sometimes challenging environments and working conditions, with significant travel activity in a different cultural setting.

Assignments usually last 3 to 12 months, but can be longer or shorter.
