PACKAGING ARTWORKS PROOFREADER

THE ROLE

The position will support EU Global Design & Packaging and the cross-functional teams. This position will support and proofread packaging content under Global Design & Packaging artwork operation procedures and databases. The proofreader will proofread proofreading packaging copy in all European languages on the digital packaging file against the DCE content source document to ensure 100% accuracy.The role will also be required to work directly with the EU Global Design & Packaging team in an effort to identify process improvement opportunities in the packaging proofreading process.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proofread primary packaging pdfs to ensure accuracy against the DCE content source document.
• Supporting Global Design & Packaging and the cross-functional copy input.
• Partner with IT & Artwork Operations on recommending on-going DCE system enhancements.
• Support the Packaging Content Coordinator with updating approved packaging content into a digital system

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in English, Languages, Arts, Communications, as a Translator or related field strongly preferred.
• 3-5+ years Proofreading experience or as a Translator including experience in a corporate environment.
• Or strong equivalent industry experience.

EXPECTED AREA OF SKILLS

• PC and/or Macintosh Operating System experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat & Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional project management skills, ability to multi-task.
• Very detailed oriented and the ability to manage ambiguity.
• Preferred multilingual speaking and writing abilities.
