As part of the Supporter Services team at WaterAid, the Operations Manager plays an important role in supporting our Fundraising and Campaign teams to maximize supporter engagement and fundraising, in order to meet our ambitious targets.
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the Supporter Operations team to deliver sector-leading experience through the fulfilment of donations in-house, updating the Raisers Edge database, managing Direct Debit and Gift Aid claims, and other ‘back office’ activities such as post opening, batching and banking.
The role will be key identifying opportunities to streamline the back office function and improve ways of working. In addition, the post holder must also ensure that WaterAid complies with the associated rules and regulations of BACS and HMRC and that WaterAid maximises fundraising income through the Gift Aid scheme.
Candidates will be expected to have excellent communication & numeracy skills, and to deliver consistent high standards of efficiency and accuracy. You will need to be a team player, who shows initiative and has the ability to administer & reconcile complex financial information; which requires excellent attention to detail.
