Ofcom Policy Director


Ofcom is the independent regulator and competition authority for the UK communication industries with responsibilities across television, radio, telecommunications, postal services and the management of the radio spectrum.
We are currently looking to extend our team of senior Competition Policy experts with an additional role at Policy Director level. The successful applicant will lead and deliver major policy projects, potentially across all of the sectors regulated by Ofcom.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong personal and professional capabilities, as well as extensive relevant experience. In particular, you will bring:
  • Strong analytical and management skills.
  • An extensive background in a relevant discipline (such as economics, engineering or consulting) or occupation in a relevant industry sector.
  • The ability to deliver large, challenging analytical projects.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team context and provide leadership, both internally and externally.
