About SIDO SIDO has been designed as a “Group” consisting of 3 main natures of work: 1) NGO, 2) Social Enterprise, and 3) Private Business Sector.
It was founded in 2001 by three Group Founders: Cambodian, Australian and American with networking and work coordination management in Cambodia, Australia, UK, US and other countries with various fields of priority, theme, and business model in different countries.
Funding & Sources: The majority funding is private funds while the rest are in-kind donations and funding supports by charity foundations and families and by various potential donors.

Education Program is among of the several development programs designed as a global architecture body research and implementing program namely the Global Education Program (GEduP) working on all related challenges, issues and development in each country reaching to the development of achievements in education sector as a child friendly school program that to achieve the national education goals, to respond to the Millennium Development Goals, to achieve the goals and targets of the National Plan of Education For All, and to achieve the strategic plan for education (ESP) and Education Sector Support Program each year's rolling plan in targeted countries.
Global Education Program (GEduP) seeks a driven, hard-working and experienced Program Manager to join our dynamic multi team, reporting directly to the Program Director. A minimum three-year commitment is required and more than this is welcome, with salary commensurate of experience. Upon completion of the three month probation period, all staff members are offered a health plan. The ideal candidate must be eligible to live and work in assigned country as well as to regular overseas travels as needed for additional trainings and meetings. Work visa permit is arranged if it is in need.
Relevant Sectors: Country Directors, Regional Directors, International Program Operations Director, Other relevant Directors, CEO, President, Social, Education, Gender, Youth and Child.
Salary, Benefits, Terms and Conditions: The position is available as soon as possible after being an offer. A Salary and benefits are at SIDO’s Grades and Scales in the Staff System-Salary Policy. Relocation and health packages including housing and transports, yearly RT home airfare etc are covered only for personnel/staff.
Main Responsibility: The Education Program Manager is to develop and coordinate the education program in assigned country, as well as to supervise the day to day implementation of the education projects. Contact and follow-up with donors, (especially with government counterparts is vital), relevant stakeholders, work with UN. IOs, NGOs/CSOs, CBOs are part of the PM’s responsibilities.
Specific Tasks: • In close collaboration with the SIDO Program Support Manager, design and expand, develop, coordinate and manage SIDO’s education projects in target country, be responsible for the oversight of technical inputs to the Education Program, • Represent SIDO at education sectoral meetings at local and national level, coordination meetings and relevant education working groups, provide quality assurance oversight of SIDO funded technical assistance engaged in the education sector in assigned country, • Roll out SIDO’s education activities towards target groups which said in the project document, provide oversight and coordination of the short-term education advisory and specialist support to the education program in liaison with the Education Resource Facility, • Follow-up contact with partners in education, recruit education staff as required, represent and assisting to strengthen SIDO’s position in relevant policy, program development and coordination with the in-country government and development partners in the education sector, • Manage the SIDO education staff, providing on the job training as required to increase the capacity of the team, • Develop budgets for proposals and manage and monitor program finance and budgets, and revise budgets as required, • Organize all logistics for the projects, Actively promote the rights of IDPs and those vulnerable persons, • Report monthly on all SIDO education activities in the assigned country, • Any other task relevant to the position as requested by the Program Director

Qualifications ■Higher degree in education or related fields of study ■Solid field experience, preferably from IDP education programs in complex emergencies ■Experience in capacity building and training of teachers ■Experience in staff management ■Experience of management of projects to deadlines ■Experience in logistics/administration management ■Experience of coordination and advocacy work ■Proven communication, interpersonal and leadership skills ■Fluency in the English language ■Political and cultural awareness and experience of working where insecurity is a major issue ■Computer skills ■Proven skills in report/proposal writing ■Holder of a valid international driver’s license if any.
