Morrisby Careers Advisers

Over the last 20 years, the Morrisby Guidance Service has evolved into the most widely used assessment system used in guidance today, with schools and colleges throughout the UK and overseas now using the service as a key part of their careers guidance programme.
Morrisby provide guidance services to schools, careers organisations and careers consultants, as well as assessment services to HR consultants and commercial organisations using our systems for recruitment and selection of staff.
Many schools are serviced by third party organisations and freelance consultants or resellers of Morrisby services, however Morrisby also deliver services to a number of schools directly. In this situation, we will train school staff so that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver the service directly within their own schools. However, in some cases, schools rely on us to provide a whole packaged service to them including the profiling, feedback and guidance interviews in such cases we will, when necessary, employ the services of a Morrisby Careers Adviser.

What is the Morrisby Careers Adviser Network?

The Morrisby Careers Adviser Network was created in order to fulfil the growing demand from schools for Morrisby trained and fully qualified careers guidance practitioners to deliver the fully supported Morrisby Guidance Service, Morrisby Direct.

The work of the Morrisby Careers Adviser

Advisers will work with a diverse range of clients, with varying needs, however the bulk of the work will be with school students aged 15-16, who are making decisions about 6th form options, as well as HE choices. However there may be other clients such as sixth formers, undergraduates, postgraduates, recent graduates, experienced professionals and career changers. Clients’ backgrounds may also be quite diverse, with differing educational needs, and difficulties, and therefore Advisers will need to be experienced in working with a diverse range of clients.
Advisers will need to be Morrisby trained, registered and up to date with the use of the Morrisby Profile. The work will involve delivering profiling sessions, administering the profile in schools to groups of students, as well as feeding back the results to candidates.
