Senior Recruitment Manager, EMEA


About the Role and Responsibilities

Location: Slough, UK

As the Senior Manager, EMEA Recruitment you will oversee all talent acquisition activities for the EMEA region. The position also entails working at a strategic level with senior management to best align the recruitment needs of the function or location, build and then execute on those plans. You will also be responsible for leading a team of senior recruiters, both on site and virtual, ensuring appropriate and efficient coverage for each region based on a capacity model.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the relationships with senior leadership across the region, partnering closely with the EMEA President and the head of EMEA HR on strategy, planning and execution
- Lead by example and mentor the recruitment team based on experience and knowledge
- Cultivate strong relationships and partnerships with the business and with HR Business Partners
- Work with senior leadership on forecasting and planning hiring strategies
- Manage the recruiter workloads to ensure efficiency against a capacity model
- Ensure effective operational activity around applicant tracking and offer processing
- Manage a flexible, fast paced hiring environment
- Work with the business leaders to understand workforce plans for the function or location and execute on those plans whilst understanding drivers and requirements and provide subject matter expertise in recruitment to include market conditions and competitor analysis
- Be the first point of contact for the business for areas of escalation
- Work with the business to understand their recruitment needs
- Drive initiatives within the Talent Acquisition team regionally or globally where required, e.g. employee referral scheme
- Research innovative recruitment strategies and develop creative solutions

Qualifications

- Experience managing a team of recruitment partners, both on site and remote, preferably within the technology space industry
- An expert level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence
- Demonstrated ability to develop and grow successful relationships at executive levels
- Knowledge of and experience using ATS systems, ideally Taleo
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required
- Proven experience in hiring in multiple countries and functions in EMEA
- Specific experience of recruiting Inside Sales is an advantage
- Strong communicator at all levels up to Executives
- Ability to run projects within a matrix environment
- Proven experience supporting and recruiting within large locations or functions
- Prolific experience in direct hiring methods such as headhunting, search, advertising, database search and referral campaigns
- Experience supporting more than one Senior Executive
- Recruitment experience ideally in-house within an IT software environment
- IT Security industry sector experience is desirable & an understanding of business/recruitment drivers
- Understanding of HR policy, process and legislation
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies at one time working to tight timelines and quality measures
- Fluent in English and another European language is an advantage
