AHF is searching for a Data Analyst located in our Hollywood Office. This opportunity is to work on a Full Time, Regular basis. The salary is based on experience, and we offer a competitive benefits package

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Assists IT Manager of Data Management - Managed Care in maintenance of data warehouse and submission of reports and data files. 

Experience and skills in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) like SQL Server and writing complex queries in SQL.

Responsible for all PBM daily data file imports including regular maintenance of file layout formats. 

Monitors nightly enrollment files to PBM (Eligibility, COB, LIS) to ensure membership is loaded and updated correctly. 

Responsible for monthly submission and tracking of D.0 claim files to AHCA Medicaid contracts and follows up on submission errors.

Responsible for monthly submission and tracking of NCPDP Rebate files to DHCS Medicaid contract and follows up on submission errors.

Work with business teams in understanding and documenting report requirements.

Prepares various reports required by funding sources, fiscal intermediaries, medical staff, and management on a routine and ad hoc basis.

Works with Director of Pharmacy on formulary design and updates. 

Maintains Medispan data files including monthly updates and regular maintenance of file layout formats.
Develops and maintains internal policies and procedures in accordance with data structures and models.

Integrates new data with existing warehouse structure and continuously improves system functionality.

Document data base configuration and update documentation with each change.

Provide support for audits including completing data extractions and validating selection coding.

Participation in AHF Meetings/Committees
Attends AHF meetings as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree (BA) or higher in Computer Science or related disciplines; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer/Software Skills & Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database related software (SQL 2000 or SQL 2005, MS Access Data Project); SSRS; SSIS; Internet software; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
