Mindspark offers a world-class work environment with offices in both White Plains and NYC. This position is based at the Mindspark headquarters in White Plains, NY - a 5-minute walk from the Metro North White Plains station.
Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Admin who will become an integral part of the IT services team by providing technical solutions to users, researching & implementing new technologies, and assisting in projects for the IT team.

Responsibilities
  • Desktop support includes but is not limited to Mindspark's White Plains office.
  • Documentation of projects.
  • Troubleshooting daily user issues such as hardware, system or application problems.
  • Researching different technologies to implement in the company.
  • Work as part of the IT Services team to provide technical solutions for our user base.
           
Technical Skills
  • The ideal candidate for this role should have 2-4 years of experience in the desktop support system management field.
  • Experience with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 2003, Windows 2008
  • Strong knowledge of PC and Laptop hardware.
  • Experience with Apple hardware and Mac OS X.
  • Experience with Active Directory 2003.
  • Experience support and deploying Microsoft Office 2007/2010
  • Experience with Microsoft Certificate Authority
  • Experience with Antivirus applications, preferably Symantec Antivirus
  • Experience with spy-ware removal and spy-ware tools.
  • Having worked with RIM Blackberry desktop software and the various blackberry units.
  • Experience with office equipment such as Nortel Telephony equipment (M3904), Polycom VOIP units, and Printers (Dell/Xerox).
  • Skills with providing technical support over the phone.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi technologies 802.11x, WPA, WEP a plus
  • Experience with Symantec Ghost server and/or Dell ImageDirect3 a big plus

Required Experience
