About Your Job::
In this role you will ensure timely & correct accounting of financial documents for New York in line with Qatar Airways Financial policies and internal accounting procedures. You will support the Strategic planning, Decision making, Costing, Project Management, Financial planning and Analysis in the station.
Your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to daily sales verification and timely settlements in the designated banks ; ensuring receivables are collected on time and payable are paid timely with no penalties ; accounting of sales documents in ERP and maintaining of Analysis sheet/ control document ; liase with the agencies and merchant service companies and banks ; stock control and additionally you will evaluate the process & programs and make recommendations for improvements.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelors Degree from a reputed University and also have successfully completed Intermediate/ Certficate Accounting courses. You will need a minimum of 2 years accounting experience and also posess experience in aviation indsutry related accounting. You should have a user level experience with ERP and MS Office (Word, Excel) and Record Keeping.
Excellent English language communication skills are essential. You will need the ability to analyse administrative problems and make appropriate recommendations.
