About Your Job:
The Manager Security Facilitation and Support is responsible for the direct management of the Security third (3rd) Party providers at Doha International Airport (DIA) ensuring compliance with accepted Aviation/ International standards and local regulations. You will ensure weekly hours are monitored and that accurate Service Level Agreements are implemented. You will also be responsible for the daily and weekly management of equipment, vehicles and any outstanding projects that may include DIA Security at the airport.
In this role, you will be the main link between Senior Manager Security and the duty staff and managers, ensuring that equipment used on shift is serviced and repaired, procedures are updated and this position will follow up on any issue that requires wrapping up from a shift perspective from day to day.
Principal accountabilities include but are not limited to:-
Manage all Airport operational security incidents/investigations.Responsible for all security processes and procedures from development, implementation, to monitoring operations as they relate to Airport security operations.Coordinate with QAS, QCAA, QR and local security for implementation security provisions, trying to maximise revenue back into DIA.Evaluation of relevant information relating to and incidents and the promulgation of the related information to operations at DIA.Manages security administration matters relating to Airport security in order to be consistent with the rules & regulations of QCAA security directives and procedures.Advice and provide guidance on the protection of airline staff, assets, and customers on a day to day basis (NON SHIFT).Manage the communication of changes in policies, standards and procedures through the issue of Notices to airport and airline staff.Manage, supervise and conduct Alcohol and Drug Tests and right to search Policy for safe and secure.Lead the investigations of non-technical complaints for Airport related security occurrences.Keep up to date with new and emerging security technologies and in consultation with DIA Security and managing assets in line with procedures.About You:
As the successful candidate, you must must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Security Management, or similar education, with additional qualifications and training in Aviation Security.
You should have at least eight (8) years prior experience in Aviation Security and have exposure to Contracts Management. A strong regulatory background with experience in Security Intelligence, Police, Military Police, Intelligence Analyst training is highly desired.
You will be expected to have a thorough understanding of airport and airlines operations and their security requirements.
