Principal Environmental Professional / Senior Project Manager

Seeking a seasoned environmental professional for immediate assignments.

Qualifications:    Advanced degree(s) in environmental engineering or science, civil or chemical engineering, chemistry or other related engineering or scientific discipline; minimum 15 years’ experience in hazardous waste and/or oil pollution investigation and remediation projects; familiarity with major environmental regulatory programs and technical guidance; significant experience and seasoned judgment in project management and multi-disciplinary team coordination; excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities: Successful candidate will coordinate the efforts of engineers and scientists for complex contamination projects;  will serve as liaison with clients and company management, and between senior technical advisors and junior to mid-level staff, performing coordination of technical tasks to achieve goals and direction provided by technical advisors; will coordinate organization and narration of observations and conclusions in technical documents and reports; and will coordinate and perform detailed quality reviews. Travel abroad is expected.

This position will start as part-time. While no commitment is made in this regard, depending on workload, prospects for a permanent, sustainable full-time position will be assessed over the course of the next several months.
