Project Manager - PV Development

Our Client - A leading PV systems and solutions providers, with over 2 Gigawatts of solar systems developed globally.

Job Description -

• Bachelor or Post Graduate Qualification in Electrical / PV / Power Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 7 years of professional experience in Project Management, ideally in the field of PV
• Those with electrical experience in commercial and industrial construction industry will also be considered
• Prior experience in setting up and leading a project / engineering team
• Ability to manage operations through offer, design, planning, execution, and completion
• Fluent in English and Japanese, both written and spoken
• Hands-on and independent individual who possesses initiative, adaptability and is able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a multi-cultural team
• Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, customer-oriented, and highly focused on necessary tasks at hand
• Able and willing to travel extensively domestically in Japan
• Proficient in MS-Office, MS Project and AutoCAD software
• Responsible for developing guidelines, rules and frameworks for project development, construction, and operation management.
• Set up and lead project engineering teams to ensure all related activities are properly planned, coordinated, and implemented
• Act as a key bridge between sales, customers, engineering, and project implementation topics
• Drive and support our partner and contractor site activities in relation to design, planning, installation, and commissioning of systems to ensure proper and safe functioning in accordance to specifications and design requirements
• Ensure all operations-related activities are in compliance with HSE, commercial and legal guidelines
  

Candidate Requirements -

• Possesses entrepreneurial spirit, customer orientation, and highly focused
• Ability to travel extensively in Japan
• Proficient in MS-Office, Ms Project, and AutoCAD software
  Fluent Japanese and business-level English are a must
