Title: Senior Multimedia Developer

Description: Description: North Bethesda health and human services consulting firm seeks a full-time multimedia developer to join our award-winning Instructional Media Center, where we create online and mobile training materials that combine text, graphics, animation, audio, video, and social media. The person in this position works with our instructional designer and internal clients to build highly interactive, instructionally sound eLearning/mLearning products. We are seeking a creative original thinker who is also knowledgeable about and grounded in multimedia to become part of our team. If you are a multimedia developer with a high level of understanding of the use of media in online/mobile learning, this may be the place for you. Note: This is an onsite position (telework is not viable), relocation assistance is not available.

Minimum Requirements: · 3 or more years of experience (2 with MA) developing multimedia for Web and/or mobile delivery, experience with eLearning/mLearning programs strongly preferred · Familiarity with Section 508 Accessibility Standards and the ability to apply them to highly interactive products · Expert knowledge of Adobe Captivate, Flash required; Moodle, HTML/CSS jQuery a plus · An eye for detail and the ability to create products meeting defined quality control standards · Demonstrated strong understanding of the use of media for instruction · Ability to complete tasks within specified number of hours and timeframes · Aptitude to learn new authoring tools/techniques quickly · Motivation to explore the latest strategies and technologies for potential application to instructional problems · BA in multimedia, instructional design, or closely related studies required, MA preferred · Experience in government contracting a plus
