Thiess Industrial Projects are currently seeking a Site Engineer - Mechanical to work on the QCLNG Upstream Works Project. This role will be bus in bus out from Brisbane, working a 14/7 Roster with camp style accommodation and meals provided whilst working on site. You will be hired as staff for the life of the Project. The role will include but not limited to:
  •  Provide Engineering support to the construction teams to facilitate the construction process
  •  Direct interface with the construction crews to collect data on information required for cost reporting and forecasting
  •  Validate work packages against scope and design
  •  Support engineering in the resolution of queries in relation to work packages through effective interface with Supervisors
  •  Ensure all non conformances are identified, reported and corrective actions developed and implemented in a timely manner
To be considered for this position, you must have:
  •  Tertiary Engineering qualifications
  •  Proven engineering experience in Construction and/or Oil and Gas
  •  Proven application and understanding of comtemporary engineering principles and applications
  •  Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, lateral thinking and problem solving skills
  •  Absolute committment to Workplace Health and Safety
