Title: Software Developer – Drupal

Description: North Bethesda health and human services consulting firm seeks a motivated individual to create and develop gather requirements, design, code, test, deploy, and maintain web applications in support of various government contracts. This individual will perform the following duties: Turning wireframes and design comps into user interface mockups and fully Drupal websites, perform custom Drupal/PHP programming and web application development, troubleshooting of existing client sites, development and implementation of IT best practices and development processes.

Minimum Requirements: BS degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum of 2 years of experience with Drupal programming experience. The candidate should be prepared to provide samples or links to past projects. Proficient in Drupal back-end development, including custom module development, key contributed modules and the core API, CCK/Fields, Views. Proficient in PHP, ideally within a GNU/Linux, Apache, MySQL environment. Proficient in SQL, relational databases and MySQL; skill with tools like phpMyAdmin and the mysql CLI. Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with AJAX and JQuery. Ability to work as part of a team, understanding problems from another team member’s perspective, and, when necessary, go above and beyond the job description to work towards a broader team goal. Independence, willingness to learn and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated. Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges. Ability to communicate and work well with others. Ability to deliver on time and on budget.
