Financial Analyst, EU Operations Amazon

The Amazon Operations Finance team is seeking an ambitious and energetic financial analyst to join the fast paced world of European Operations in our EU headquarters. We are not an average retailer and this is definitely not your average finance position. We will give you the opportunity to really make a difference to our business. • Responsibilities include •Analysis of metrics and reporting requirements
• Database design, implementation and maintenance •Integration of data improvements into the reporting/planning processes
• Analysis and verification of the process details and data output
• Developing/improving models for further processing of data
• Drive business meetings and calls with different project members
• Indentify business opportunities

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in information engineering, information management, industrial engineering, economical subjects with IT relation or comparable
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Has a superior attention to detail
• Ability to analyze financials, dive deep into data sets and provide results
• The successfull candidate will have strong skills (mandatory criteria) in accessing and using analytical tools (Excel, VBA, Databases/SQL)

Preferred Qualifications

Economy and finance understanding are welcome.
